I came into the tour thinking that I knew some details about Van Gogh. But I quickly realized that what I knew was only based on stories created about him. When I left I had a renewed sense of Van Gogh’s meticulously executed genius and his longing for acceptance as well as belonging. The guide was extremely well versed in the evolution of his art and the inspiration from which he pulled from. The pace and organization of the tour was perfect to fully embrace the short but extraordinary life of Vincent Van Gogh.

The museum on our own would have been overwhelming. With this guided tour we got to see the art as a progression through the short life of Vincent. Our guide Holly was knowledgeable, engaging, and helpful. She expertly guided us through the crowds to see the important works. Only suggestion would be to start the tour 30 minutes earlier, time left to wander on our own after was close to closing time. Highly recommended.
