Meet the Impressionists: Musée d'Orsay Skip-the-Line Fully Guided Tour

Our guide, Adam, was outstanding! He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, engaging and provided a a wealth of information regarding the art as well as the artist. Of all the tours that we have taken, Adam scores a “20”! We learned so much from him. Our only regret is that we were leaving the next day and could not sign up for more of his tours.

Hi I don’t intend this to be published but wanted to give more feedback. Our guide had a singular theme of politics and relationship of artists. It was interesting but I think she needed to speak more about the actual art itself. Also the tour used the headphones from the museum where our other tours with walks and get your guide handed out headsets. The headsets from the museum were bad quality. Also our tour guide didn’t not use hers well and was hard to hear as she kept moving her mouth away from the speaker and got a lot of cracking noise. It was disappointing as this was the tour we were most looking forward to and in the end was our least favourite. Overall close to a 7. Not terrible but should be better.

I loved the tour guides. Did both the Louvre and Musée D’Orsay. Thé guides were very knowledgeable. This was just a taste of the art in both locations, and is by no means a comprehensive tour, which would not be possible in two hours. On both tours, we were requested to be there 15 minutes in advance of the start time. In each instance, there were several people who showed up about 10 minutes after the start time, or 25 minutes late. The rest of the group was held up waiting for them. I would suggest telling participants at the point of confirmation that they need to show up 15 minutes in advance and that the tour starts promptly at the designated time. This is a respect to the majority who can follow instructions.

1. The tour guide Carolina was very knowledgeable and to the point! Nothing like a French art lover telling us about French art. 2. Alert: When I clcked on the meeting point sent by the confirmation SMS, it launched Google Maps but I was led to the Lourve Museum instead of Musee d'Orsay. I ran to Musee d'Orsay to catch Carolina in time.

Would be nice to get a 15 minute reminder before the meeting time, as we made a mistake, and did not arrive on time.
